April 9 - Brinkley Walser attorneys David Inabinett and Ryan McNeill will be speaking on elder law issues at the upcoming Caregiver College Day on Saturday, April 9 at The Life Center at 601 West Center Street in Lexington. This free event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will cover a variety of topics of interest to those who provide care for the elderly.

April 12 - Local Attorney David Inabinett of Brinkley Walser will be joining other panelists, including a funeral director, medical doctor, minister, case manager, respiratory therapist and hospice care specialist to address end-of-life planning and answer questions. The symposium is scheduled for April 12, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at 201 West Third Avenue in Lexington. The event is free to the public.

Brinkley Walser Opens Greensboro Office:

The law firm of Brinkley Walser has opened an office in the "Green Valley Road Building." The firm has served in Lexington and the surrounding counties for the past 125 years. The Greensboro opening marks the firm’s first satellite office. While the firm will continue its tradition of offering a broad range of legal services, the primary focus for this location will be estate planning, elder law and asset protection planning, business and corporate, as well as Social Security disability and workers’ compensation.
