Homeowners' Associations

A homeowner's association (HOA) is a legal body created for a real estate development for the purpose of ensuring oversight of the property such that it is maintained for the benefit of all homeowners according to the defined covenants. It allows the developer to exit financial and legal responsibility and places the authority in the HOA to maintain and handle the property owner’s compliance with restrictions and regulations for the development.
