The North Carolina Department of Transportation's NC 109 project is intended to improve the highway between Thomasville and Winston-Salem (Davidson County and Forsyth County) with the intent of reducing congestion and decreasing the number of accidents along this stretch of road. The final route was selected in August 2011. Funding has not yet been approved for the project. Condemnation of property impacted by the route selection will begin once funding is approved and construction moves forward. For more information, visit the NCDOT project website.
If your propery is condemned as part of the NC 109 project and you are unsure whether the compensation offer you received is adequate, you may wish to consult an attorney to discuss your options. Contact Brinkley Walser today for an appointment.
